A company stamp, a brand logo, a certification badge — these image assets often need to land at a fixed spot on a PDF. Here's how to insert one, plus a tip for a cleaner result.
Steps
- Open LocalPDF and load your PDF.
- Click the "Image" tool in the top toolbar.
- Click wherever on the page you want the image to appear.
- Choose your image file from the file picker (PNG, JPG, and WebP all work).
- The image appears on the page — drag the round handle in the bottom-right corner to resize, or drag the image itself to reposition it.
- Click "Download" when you're done.
A tip for a more professional-looking stamp or logo
If your stamp or logo image has a white rectangular background, placing it on a PDF will cover up whatever text or table lines were underneath, looking stiff and unpolished. A better approach is to make the background transparent beforehand (export as PNG) — then only the design itself shows once inserted, and the content underneath stays fully visible. Most phone photo-editing apps have a background-removal feature that takes just seconds.
Inserting several stamps or logos in one document
Insert and adjust one image at a time — confirm its position and size are right before inserting the next. This avoids having several unpositioned image elements on screen at once, which gets confusing. Any inserted image can be reselected later to adjust or delete.
