Working with small-print tables, dense contract clauses, or a signature that needs precise alignment, it's easy to click the wrong spot at normal zoom. Zooming in noticeably improves accuracy for this kind of fine-grained work.

How to adjust zoom

The top toolbar has a zoom control group on the right:

When zooming in helps

When zooming out helps

For reordering pages overall, checking whether the layout reads consistently across the whole document, or just skimming content, zooming out shows more of the page at once and cuts down on scrolling.

Does zoom affect the exported file?

No. Zoom is purely a display setting while you edit — it doesn't affect the exported PDF's page size or content coordinates in any way. Editing at 200% zoom versus 100% produces an identical result; zooming just makes your clicks more accurate.

Try zooming in and see how much easier precise edits become.
